Logical Disk Manager: No such interface supported

Marco

I open Disk Manager, by clicking Start, right-clicking My Computer, and then
clicking Manage. In the Computer Management MMC window, I click Disk
Management in the tree under Storage and...

An error window pops up, with the title "Logical Disk Manager", telling me
"No such interface supported"

On the (rather empty) Manage window, the status bar says "Unable to connect
to Logical Disk Manager service".

I have these services up and running, Plug and Play (automatic startup) and
Remote Procedure Call (RPC)(automatic startup). Logical Disk Manager and
Logical Disk Manager Administrative Service are also running with automatic
startup.

Please HELP! I need Disk Manager to manage my drive letters and everything
else...!

actions,all,

Well my friend, "diskmgmt.msc" does run... but not on the pc where I have
the problem! When I run that aplication, the same error window pops up, with
the title "Logical Disk Manager", telling me "No such interface supported". I
run "diskmgmt.msc" on any other computer without problems.

So I still need help! HELP! ^^;;;
