MMC 8.8 TV capture to NTFS fails?

Bert

TV capture to NTFS with MMC 8.8 still fails on my system.
It worked when I had only one 120 GB NTFS drive, but after I installed a
2nd one, I could only capture to a FAT32 partition.
Moreover, when I installed the latest Catalyst 3.10 driver, MMC
complained that I had a wrong video card, so I kept the previous driver.

Complaining at ATI was not helpful.
I have a Club 3D card with ATI Radeon 128 MB with VIVO, a Hyperthreaded
2.4 GHz P4 with 512 MB PC3200 RAM on an EPOX PDAI MoBo running Windows
XP.

A similar problem is known at ATI:
ATI TV Player - Capture fails to start when recording to an NTFS disk
partition, see
http://www.ati.com/support/infobase/4052.html

Comments are welcome.
Thanks.

I have no problems what so ever recording to a NTFS drive, I have two 120 G
ATA100 (both NTFS) and a Radeon AIW 9000Pro, Cat 3.9 and MMC 8.7
DirectX9.0a, since M$ F****d up 9.0b...thinking the world was only NTSC
running WinXP Pro SP1 + some K.B. updates. The ATI drivers are very
sensetive (in a bad way) from other applications and games... I tried to
install some "kinder" games and then I wasn't able to record any
more...reconf...tried Office...same thing. Recording stopped
working...reconf...tried upgrading KB for my soundcard...Recording stopped
working!?!??!?!?!?!!?!?!?

Now I have made that system, a HTPC and use it mainly as a recorder/viewer
and never ever updateing it anymore...

(Norton Ghost/Drive Image is good to have, ATI!!!)
