Mixed OS Home Network 5 devices show up, 1 doesn't

Eric

I have been struggling with this issue for some time and have tried to solve
it myself through research but no luck, so I am asking for help.

I have a Home Network set up with a Netgear Wirelss router. 2 laptops
Wireless, 3 desktops wired and 1 Buffalo LinkStation Network drive wired.
One laptop and 2 desktops are Win2000 and the others XPpro.

Everything works fine except for one of the desktops running 2000. It
doesn't show up in the Network Neighborhood on any of the computers nor do
any of them show up on it's NN.

I have done this:
Checked that the workgroup name is same on all computers.
NetBios over TCP/IP is enabled on all
Computer Browser service is enabled on all (I thought this was the answer
since I found it disabled on the problem PC, but activating it did not help)
I can Ping all other devices on the network from problem PC and they can
also ping it.
I can access the Netgear Config software from the problem PC and all looks
fine.
Internet sharing works fine everywhere.

One weird thing is that when I try to use the LinkStation Config Utility on
the problem PC, I cannot transfer files or view the shared folders on it (it
says they are set up as hidden files, but they aren't). However, it does
know the name of the Network drive and how much disc space is available so
it must be "seeing" it somehow.

I have my users set up as simply as I know how, I am always admin with no
password on all the computers so I don't think user issues are the problem.

Any more ideas?

Thanks
Eric
