I have been having trouble with some computers that all
come from one image. IE seems to be mixed somehow. In
the about IE page, the version reads 6.0.2800.1106 but the
splash screen is still showing Internet Explorer 5. This
seems to cause some major problems when visiting certian
web sites. I get Active X errors, saying that it is not
set to the correct level, and various other errors on
secured sites. I have also seen problems accepting
cookies. I cannot change these settings in the options
page. It is set for custom, but when I make some changes,
it reverts back to custom. An old fix was to just
reinstall IE 6.0 w/SP1, but now that does not fix it. I
am at a loss now. Any help would be very apreciated. --
