Missing translation language pairs

U

I an using Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 with ALL components installed to
run on the computer.

I used to have several language pairs available (e.g. English-German,
English-Spanish, English-French).

After experiencing major problems with all Office components crashing,
Microsoft Tech Support advised me to uninstall Office and re-install Office.
After I did this, the language pairs disappeared.

How do I get the language pairs back and functioning?

At present, when I selct and right-click a phrase and the Research window
opens and I expand Translate, both the From and To language drop-down menu
boxes are empty - not even English is there!

In the Research pane, click on the Translation Options button and check the
boxes for "Use online dictionary", "use only when the installed dictionary
is unavailable" and "Use online machine translation" and also check all of
the language pairs that you want to use.

Also try Google Translate. I find that it works very well for things like
Arabic, Japanese and Chinese (or which I know nothing) to English when
translating questions asked in these newsgroups and apparently, my response
in English translated to the OP's original language also seems to work well
based on responses received.
