I'm missing the drop-down options on the Task Bar, Properties,
Customize, Customize Notification "Hide Icons" area. The options boxes
are there, but there's no action when the down-arrow is clicked.

Running XP, SP2 which was upgraded from Win98.

Has anyone any thoughts on how I get these options back?

Thanks.

Hi, John.

In the "Customize Noticication" window, you need to highlight the "Always
show" (or whatever) to show the scroll option. You can then select "Always
Hide".

Best wishes,
Ed

There IS no way to highlight anything. THAT'S the problem.
