Missing Taskbar notification icons

There are many suggested fixes, but the only one that worked for me was
http://www.tech-pro.net/howto_013.html. Under the "Disable Universal Plug
and Play" fix I made the changes from MANUAL to AUTOMATIC in both cases.
Hoping that this is of assistance.

I realize you are trying to help, but in order to do so you need to both:

- reply to the original post, not create a new one.
- include the original message in the response so people will know what you
are responding to.

To do otherwise usually results in your response just getting mixed in with
the hundreds of other posts in these groups every day, and there is very
