-- Hello, My taskbar 'notification' area by my clock is malfunctioning. It
often wont show an icon for a program that is clearly running. If I go into
the settings to select 'show always', or 'show when active' I find that the
program listings are matched with the wrong program icons, and in some cases
there is simply a folder in place of the program icon and it is labeled with
a title describing a function of the program, not the title of the program.
Is there some other setting/control for the taskbar 'notification' area
besides the 'properties' selection available through right-clicking the
taskbar?
Perhaps some way to clear out the history of the notification area, or a
means to repair it?
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks to all for all time and effort
