Missing tabs

I have had a problem with my web page being changed and
had to go into "options" and change it back under the
general tab before. Now something has mad the general
and program tab invisible for me to see or access to do
this anymore. I have run spyware, but it still is not
fixed. what can I do?

Probable cause this parasite.

Missing the General Tab under Tools/Advanced tab...
This has been known to be caused by some malware called CoolWebSearch. Do
the following:
Download and run: http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/cwshredder.zip to
remove the parasite.
Then download and run:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/iegentabs.reg to restore your
tabs and remove any restrictions that the parasite has put in place.
