Missing Sent Item Emails

Hello,

I'm using Outlook Express 6/2004.

At times, when I exit Outlook it does a compacting of all my emails in
different folders.
A few times my emails in the Sent Items folder were deleted or missing when
I next use the Outlook.

Can anyone help?

Outlook, the group you posted to, is a completely different program to
Outlook Express, which has its own groups, under IE groups
