Missing reply / forward arrows

[NBuffalo]

At work i have a desktop that on occassion wont show the reply / forward
arrows as well as the message text seen inside the original message when ever
its clicked on. Sometimes it will be just the arrow showing, or just the text
box showing.
Any help on trying to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thats just it, I am the residental IT guy at my office and even my supervisor
is having trouble with this one. Out of the 40 workstations we have running
Outlook 2k7 this and another desktop in that department are having this
problem.

Have you tried running Detect and Repair? Is this a .pst file or an Exchange mailbox? And most importantly, what version of Outlook and what mail support type?

Its useing .pst, the detect and repair has not shown any troubles with
the program. We are useing outlook 2007 with pop/smtp
The weird thing about this problem is that the problem doesnt show up
every e-mail. Nor does it happen with just one person. Sometimes just
the arrow will dissappear other times the arrow and the box stating
when the message was replied to or forwarded, (IE: You forwarded this
message on <date> <time>.)

running off exchange. Sometimes its a delayed replicating issue but
other times it just doesn't want to show at all.

I work in IT as well. I have the same issue and am using Outlook 2003.
Has anyone offered you any viable solutions/explanations yet?

have any of you tried useing a different account for the mail server
log on? I would try this but the operator on that computer is the
manager of one of our busiest sections of our company. If one of you
could try doing this and tell me how it works out like maybe try
swapping the desktop with another and switch user names or something
like that

I changed the column views and had no issue restoring the actual flags. Just
reset the current view and start over. When users remove columns they change
this attribute.

I have the same issue with a single user. She forwards and replies to dozens
of emails a day. This problem just came up with her new PC runnning Office
2007 with SP1 on XP Profesisonal. Is is possible that this happens to
everyone and that only users who heavily rely on this feature are noticing
the bug in the program?

I did an online chat with Microsoft today to fix this problem. It was beyond
frustrating when I was trying to fix it myself...which of course did not
work. The tech had me download the Microsoft Outlook Connector and it fixed
it. I now have the Reply and Forward arrows. Hope this helps!
