Apparently this key is gone from my registry and I need step by step
instructions to
re-add it back in. If I go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT.... the only folder
I see is one called Terminal Services. Please help, thank you in advance.

Hi,

The "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\SystemRestore"
Key is not necessary for System Restore to function.

Is System Restore functioning?
