I've reinstalled Windows XP a bunch of times but I think I'm missing some programs. It doesn't have Powerpoint, Excel, Publisher or even Word! Or is it supposed to be like that? I'm obviously clueless about this stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

These programs are not part of the Windows operating system, they all belong
to the MS Office Suite. If you want them, you will have to purchase and
install from CD

Hi, None of those programs are a part of any version of Windows. They may
be purchased as part of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Many OEM's included these programs as part of a new PC, but they are not
part of the Windows OS.

Neither Windows XP nor any other version of Windows has ever come
with these programs, nor with any other significant application
software. If you want these you can buy any of them separately,
or together as part of Microsoft Office.
