pix are omitted from emails that I send both to myself and to
others---however the pix are in the email that is saved in my sent folder. I
have checked the tools/options/security and i am setup to receive in html.

it is very strange as i can receive pix in an email from someone else, but
when i forward that email (even to myself) the pix are not there.

Thank you -- that worked. Now i get the pix but they are in seperate
attachments. Is there a way to change that so the pix stay in the body of
the email? This used to work fine, but something happened that made these
changes occur. it may have been an AV update.

If you see them as attachments, then it's likely they were attached and not
embedded.

would they become attachments if they were embedded in the original email
that i sent from myself to myself? i can receive the embedded pix from
someone else, but when i forward the same email to myself, the pix become
attachments--but they are still embedded in the email that is saved in my
sent folder.

I don't work much with embedded images. I'll experiment a little.
