Hi,

For some reason when I go into Norton Antivirus to run a
scan it states that it has been turned off and there's an
error. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but it
keeps coming up whenever I turn it back on. It states
that the "Registry Keys are missing or damaged" or that
I've upgraded to another version of windows. I have
Windows XP and I haven't upgraded at all. I'm not sure
what happened. Can anyone tell me how to fix this
problem.

Thanks,

Debbie

when you boot windows xp during the start up hit f8, and thers some options to load, hit load last known good configuration , and see if that should load your registry keys right...another good trouble shooter is to reinstall after that fact and see if your antivirus program is the fault
