Missing One Microsoft Shared File

Norton One Button Checkup always finds one
fault: "Missing Microsoft Shared Files (1 problem)". In
then "fixes" it after which running the One Button
Checkup again finds the same problem.

I am running Windows XP which was an upgrade from Windows
Me. How can I restore the "missing" shared file?
