Missing my inbox after running inbox repair tool

I received the error:
"Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. The
set of folders cannot be opened. Errors have been detected in the file
c:\Users\{my name}\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst. Quit Outlook
and all mail-enabled applications, and then use the Inbox repair tol
(Scanpst.exe) to diagnose and repair errors in the file. For more
information about the Inbox repair tool, see Help."
I ran the Inbox repair tool and it told me it found errors and to repair
them, so I did, checking the box that said to create a backup.
When I restarted Outlook, I have the new folders "Lost and Found" that
include the sub-folders "Recovered Folder {folder number},

but I no longer have an "Inbox".
Am I missing a step? Where is my Inbox?
When I receive new mail, it goes into the "Recovered Folder" - is this my
Inbox, and can I / should I change its name to Inbox?

Also, could this have been caused by an email? I was in the process of
opening an email virus warning called "Snoops verified virus*nc" which in and
of itself looks suspicious because of the misspellings etc. but I did not
open an attachment (it doesn't have one), I was just opening the email when
this error process began.

Thank you for your help - I have tried to find what to do about the "Inbox"
label, but it eludes me.

Your PST was damaged in such a way that scanpst could not recover it fully
and recreate it as it was originally. You have a couple options. The first
is that you can start Outlook once with the /resetfolders and
/resetfoldernames command switches. This may reset the name of the Inbox to
"Inbox".

Another, and what I consider a better option is to create a new PST, make it
your delivery location (which causes Outlook to populate it with all the
default folder names), then copy the data from your old, damaged PST to the
new PST so you have a fresh data store with no inconsistencies.

Also, could this have been caused by an email?

Highly unlikely.
