inbox repair tool doesn't work

HRBrad

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium and Outlook 2007. Every time I try to
delete an emil, I get a message telling me that there are errors and that I
should run scanpst.exe, the inbox repair tool. When I try to run it I get
another error message and I am told to check the disk for errors, then try to
run the inbox repair tool again.

I run the check disk and it doesn't tell me that there are errors, but when
I try to run scandik.pst again, I get the same message again. I have done
this several times to no avail. I am able to permanently delete mail in my
inbox by holdong down the shift key, right clicking and clicking on delete.

In addition to this, I am unable to access the Junk Email folder or the
Deleted Items folder. Can anyone help?

Thank you.
