Inbox repair tool not working

P

Paula

Outlook will not open and tells me to run the Inbox repair tool which I have
done.

Near the end of the repair process I get a message telling me, “An error has
occurred which caused the scan to be stopped. No changes have been made to
the scanned file.â€

Any suggestions?

When you run it is Outlook closed?

What exactly does the error message say?
Did you try making a new profile or renaming the pst and letting outlook
make a new pst?

See http://www.slipstick.com/problems/scanpst.asp for methods and tools
which may help.

I've not tried making a new profile or renaming the pst. How do I do this?
