Missing Junk E-mail folder for email account

P

PeterSo

I recently added a new email provider and thus added new accounts in
Outlook 2007. All my "old" accounts have a Junk E-mail folder with a
lock sign on it, and junk and spam goes into that folder. These
folders are missing on all the "new" accounts I set up. How do on set
up the special folders and how do you direct junk email into them. It
works great on the "old" accounts, but I forgot how they were set up.

Thanks,

Peter

Can I suggest you give the rest of the information requested by Dian to your
post yesterday in microsoft.public.outlook instead of posting the same
question twice in this group?

I did, but no reply. In the meantime I'm drowning in junk e-mails. Is
there anybody that can point me to documentation on this issus. Was
not able to find anything on the Microsoft website.

I am using Outlook 2007, XP pro. I have several accounts set up over
year ago that all have a Junk E-mail folder with their respective
Inbox and they have been working fine. I created two new email boxes
this week from a new provider, but the Junk E-mail folder did not show
up with their Inboxes and thus all the spam is flooding onto my Inbox.

The question that Diane asked and you never answered is what TYPE of email
accounts did you create? pop, IMAP OR http?

The email is IMAP.

All the other email accounts that have a Junk e-mail folder (with red
sign on it) are also IMAP accounts.
