Missing inbox subfolder

I have exchange 5.5 installed & Outlook 2000 as the
client.I have a user(MD)who's inbox has subfolders created
(example peter, evelyn).Mail from peter, evelyn is directed
to these subfolders respectively. He has either deleted or
moved one of the subfolder (example peter)and as a result
he can't veiw mail from peter.I say 'veiw' because when
mail is sent from peter, outlook indicates that mail has
been recieved but it cant be viewed.
I have used the advanced find option to no avail. He didnt
have autoarchive enabled, local pst file does not have the
mail from peter and am completely dumb struck!!!Where is
this folder!!!Is there a way to create another subfolder
and direct mail from Peter to it??
Please HELP!!

Turn off all his rules and test this again.

Why is there a PST file? He should be using his Exchange mailbox for
delivery - all users should be. PST files=BAD.

Yes, but I'd try the above suggestions first.
