missing hard drive

I recently purchased an external hard drive which worked fine until trying to
back up my computer using paragon back up. I know the drive is connected but
when looking for it in"my computer" it is not there. Any help greatly
appreciated.

The better place to determine whether an external hard drive is attached
to the computer would be through Drive Management. If present, determine
why it is not being seen in My Computer. Typical problems could be the
loss of formatting or of the partition.
