Does anyone know how to fix this issue:
I have been having problems with IE 6.0 the last few weeks
and now I noticed that the General Tab is missing in the
Internet Tools area. I was using the General Tab to set my
default window when IE loads. If I remember, this is also
the area where you can delete cookies, files, and history
as well as set space settings. It is gone. Every once in
awhile, I get a total failure of IE loading at all. I run
through some steps to reload IE 6 and run any Windows
update (Windows 98 SE - which is no longer supported by
MICROSOFT) and virus scans. My question is what do I have
to do to get this component back as part of the IE
Internet Tools General Tab? Also is there something
controlling the existence of the General Tab and IE
features in the registry that can be rebuilt? If so, is
there a template of the basic keys?
