Missing File Icons

Hi,

This has probably been asked a million times, but I can not find a solution
that works. I installed Nero, uninstalled Nero, and now all of Icons for
Windows Picture and Fax Viewer are missing. More accurately, they have been
changed to a generic icon. How do I restore them. I've tried "open with" and
the "propeties" solution. Any ideas?

Try a System Restore back to a point before the problem started.

I actually tried that, but had to reinstall my Macromedia apps. At that
point the Windows Picture and FAx Viewer icons dissapeared again. And, I
wasn't able to do any further system restores.....

Seems as though Macromedia could be the source of your problem.
