If you are using Win2K, fax is already installed on ur machine ...i.e it is
not an optional component.
If you have just deleted the shortcut, it should not be a problem. Just
check for the fax related dlls and exes in your windows/system32
directory... ie.
dir %windir%\system32\fax*.dll
dir %windir%\system32\fax*.exe
if u find the following faxsvc.exe, faxsend.exe u could just start the fax
service
using net start fax and then call faxsend.exe to start sending faxes. (you
could also create a shortcut!)
