Fax printer not showing up

My computer came with windows 2000 pro installed on it. I
have been trying to get my fax to work. When I go to the
fax management console and push add a fax printer nothing
happens, it just sits there. When I go to the Printer menu
in the control panel no fax printer icon shows up. Does
anyone have any ideal what I should do to get the printer
added.

Do you have a modem installed on your box? You will get a fax printer only
after installing a modem.
