Missing DVD / CDRW drive

Marc Ambasna-Jones

My DVD / CDRW drive is suddenly missing. There is no icon
under Your Computer, nothing in device manager, there is
a disc still in the drive and the bay wont open. Very
perplexed. Any help or suggestion as to why it's happened
would be much appreciated.
 
Check to see if the power cable is plugged into the dvd/cdrw drive
