Missing defragmenter

When I go to System Tools the Disk Defragmenter is gone. I don't know why.
Any suggestion ?

If you type the following from Start>Run does the Disk Defragmenter screen
appear:

dfrg.msc

--

The box pops up for the defragmenter but when you click on it to get started
another box pops up telling me that chkdsk is scheduled to run and it can't
run. Chkdsk IS NOT scheduled to run. I'm so confused.
