Missing command in the "file" menu on Windows XP Pro

I am missing the "new Folder" command in all my drop down "file" commands.
Doe sany one know what would cause this and/or how to correct it? Thanks,
appreciate any help
 
There should not be a "New Folder" entry. It's File/New/Folder. It's not in
all programs. Look in Windows Explorer.
 
Thanks for the reply Thor. I am missing the file/new/folder command, even in
Windows Explorer.
