I had to uninstall office 2003 basic and reinstall office xp pro when i open
outlook and click on my contacts all my contacts are there but when i try to
send a e-mail to any of my contacts it tells me that- Outlook does not
recognize the contacts name, then i click on show more names and in the top
right hasnd corner it's completely empty and when i search the name i get
nothing. It's like the address doesn't exsisit. But everything is in my
contacts folder, is there a way that i can get address list back without
recreating a new one???

Add the Outlook Address Book to your mail profile (Tools>E-mail Accounts>Add
a new directory or address book>Next>Additional address books>Next) and then
enable the folder as an address book (right-click>Properties>Outlook Address
Book).
