Missing Address liane & taskbar.........

XP Home edition. Two problems: 1) Although I have Address
checked (View/Toolbars/Address), the address line does
not appear in the window at all....... 2) I cannot place
any shortcut icons on the taskbar (bottom, next to START)
by drag and drop; how can I place them there?...........
Any help would be immensely appreciated...........
 
Unlock the Task Bar (right-click and uncheck "lock the taskbar")
Drag the top edge upwards to widen the taskbar and create more space. Do
you see any part of the Address Bar now? Can you drag icons into Quick
Launch now?
