Missed 56 threats

I installed the Anti Spyware beta and ran a scan. Installed
Ad-Aware SE and found 56 threats. Ran Spybot and found 1
threat that Ad-Aware left behind. Nothing is perfect, but I
believe missing 56 threats is significant. Is there
anywhere to send the log to show what was missed by Anti
Spyware? Does anybody care?

Firstly, It's a beta and very incomplete. If the threats you missed are
cookies or data miners they are not in effect in this beta.

Keep using your other anti programs and run tests with the beta.

It is slowly increasing the items it does see but as yet the ones listed
above are not included yet.

All betas are incomplete programs and are suitable only for testing. Since
yours is running ok as a program it is working for you.

Discount the cookies and data-miners - now how many do you see? Cookies
were not part of this beta.

Did you enable the Full system scan instead of the Quick
Scan?

Cookies and data miners are not scanned for in this beta. They are text
files and do not really test whether this beta can handle the real problems
out there.

Hi Kirstin,
I would suggest running a full scan for starters. Once you are comfortable
that your system is clean, then you might consider downsizing.

You are the only one this is happening to. Stop trying
to bash companies you don't like every chance you get.
Everyone else is having the opposite effect! Very
suspicious that you are having this "problem" when
everyone else has shown that adaware and spybot
continually miss what MAS finds!

steven, i run sb,aa, and the beta and have yet to see

any of them find all problems, even when i juggle the
running order. you said you " installed and ran" the
beta,i'm not trying to be a smart ass, but did you update
all your defiitions before running?
