Everytime I run a scan Microsoft's Anti-Spyware Beta 1
keeps coming up with the same threats. NavExcel is one of
many that keep coming up. Regardless whether I quarantee
or delete the objects found on the very next scan I get
them back again. Does anyone know how to block them
permanently? This specific spyware tries to hijack my
browser and change my home page. Any feedback would be
appreciated. Thanks

I would do a Spyware and Antivirus scan in safemode to start. Also make sure
your firewall is enabled and Automatic Updates for Windows is turned on.

Hi

This is from Navhelpers FAQ

8. How do I uninstall NavHelper?
Uninstalling NavHelper is easy and takes only a few moments.
Unlike some other programs, uninstalling NavHelper will
eliminate the entire program from your computer. Follow the
instructions below to uninstall NavHelper:

1. Close all Internet browsers
2. From your "Start" menu, select "Settings" and
"Control Panel"
3. Select "Add/Remove Programs"
4. Select NavHelper from the list and select the
add/remove button
5. Reboot your computer once the uninstall process is
complete
