Mis-direction

When I go to start-programs-acc.-system tools- system information. it opens
Compaq Help and Support instaed of system information. In the past it would
open sys. info. but not now. Any ideas why it would change and how to fix it?

Go to System Information again and RIGHTCLICK it. Then click Properties
and look at the Target line. Does it read C:\Program files\Common
files\Microsoft Shared\MSInfo\msinfo32.exe? You can edit the target line.
You can type msinfo32.exe in Start>Run and click OK to run the information.
Note: In Properties, click Find Target and see what yours reads.

Followed your instructions to the letter and found Target line and it reads
like you said it should. I went to start-run and entered msinfo32.exe and hit
ok and help and support opened up insted of system info. Can't find
properties for help&support. Trying to learn, boy it sure is confusing at
times. Thank you for your time and effort.
