Mirrored drives new question

I posted earlier the following question:

I have a new server running Windows Server 2003 Standard. It has 2 100 gig SATA hard drives. The motherboard utility has been configured for mirroring. Both HDDs show up in BIOS, however, in the disk management in Windows I only have one drive showing up. Can anyone help me out with this?

DL responded with: (by the way, thanks for the quick response)

If the two sata drives are set as mirror then you will only see one hd in
management.
Leastways thats how it is on my Win2K pro

My new question is:

Is there a way to check the staus or verify a mirrored drive? It seems that I would be trusting a lot to faith and I am not much of one for faith-based initiatives.

Check your RAID hardware Documentation for the Answer.
Depending on the "Type" of hardware you're using, there should be software
to help with RAID management. Or at the very least you should be able to
access the RAID controler during the POST.

Remove the kNOT to reply.
But it is best to share it with the group.
