I have a AIW 8500, WIndows XP Pro, Catalust 3.5 ( and all other drivers
etc). I have a VCR plugged in via the S-Video lead to my card. I want to
play video's out on to the VCR and record them to tape ( I have some TV
episodes I want on tape).
I thought I would do this;
1) Use display properties and then turn on the output - it is detected as a
TV.
2) Set the 2nd 'monitor' ( actually my video) to mirror the 1st
3) Use ATI File Player to play the video on the screen and then record it to
tape.
My plan fails at step (2) I can't set the 2 monitor to mirror the 1st, only
as an extension to my desktop - and if I do that I can't see the controls to
know what is happening !
I'm sure I used to be able to have the 2nd screen as a mirror. How can I do
it ? Do I need Hydravision ?
Is there another way of achieving the video recording ?
