A friend of mine has this printer which displayed - service call 18 fuser
upp warmup.
As discussed with minolta, the fuser unit was at fault and duly replaced.
This resulted in the error code - service call 1F low fuser therm.
Anybody know what is causing this is or have a list of the service call
codes.

Service Call 18 FUS UPP WARMUP or Service Call 1C FUS LOW WARMUP: A high
fusing temperature error
is detected if the temperature of the heater roller during temperature
control rises above 210° C/410°F, and if the
temperature of the pressure roller rises above 195° C/383° F.

Service Call 1F FUS LOW THERM: After the warm up has started, a pressure
roller heat error is detected if the
temperature of the pressure roller does not reach 130° C/266° F within 70
seconds or does not exceed 150° C/302° F
within 140 seconds, after the temperature of the heat roller has reached
170° C/338° F or more.

Your fuser does not warm up.
Either your fuser does not get power or it does not use it.
First thing I would suspect is the fusing unit it self, Broken heater lamps
are often the cause (I've seen a lot of these even with brand new fusers).
If you're sure it's not the fuser then the sollution might not be so easy,
it can be caused by the power supply, the mcu, the controllerboard or a
short in any other part within the printer.
