minimized windows

I saw someone else posted this question earlier. I am
having the same issue with IE 6.1. The first window opens
up normal size but all subsequent windows very little (
like 1" x 1").
If anyone can give me any suggestions it would be
greatly appreciated.

If you shortcut is set to open in a maximized window it will, but the other
sizes will be the same as the last window closed.

Since advertisers arrange for small windows to pop up behind the one you're
actually wanting it's often unavoidable that the last one closed is a small
one. See this page.

Open such a link.
Don't use the maximize button.
Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
Close all other IE windows.
Close the stretched window.
