Minimized widows settings

When I launch a web address from my favorites folder or
desktop, they all open in the minimized view.Is there a
way to change them to open in the larger view? I think
this might be a windows setting problem rather than a
Explorer settings.I dont know how to change that in XP
home.
Any advise?
 
Delete the value Window_Placement from
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\InternetExplorer\Main.
 
Will that maximize the other explorer windows too?
Seems like great advise!!
 
Actually IE intends to remember the very first window size and position.
Every next window would open at the same size and placement as before.
