minimising a window

When I minimise a window it disapears. I have to use task
manager to restor it.

It used to shrink to a button on the taskbar but now they
just vanish.

I have tried the setting option but nothing seems to work.

has an automatic upgrade done something to my setting.

Please help!! I don't like having to keep using task
manager to restore the window

Not a fix, but in the meantime you could use ALT+Tab to
get the windows back....
