Similar to Orlando, who messaged "my problem is that from nowhere windows crashes in
blue screen telling me that is a mini dump of memory an
when i try to turn on the computera few minutes late
crashes again doing the same thing. i scaned the compute
for viruses but theres nothing please i need help" I got the blue screen and on " restart" the following message
"The system has recovered from a serious error. A long of this error has been created. Click here, etc."
Upon clicking the next screen shows an error signature as follows
BCCode : a BCP1 : 00000016 BCP2 : 00000002 BCP3 : 0000000
BCP4 : 804FB1DD OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 1_0 Product : 256_
Upon clicking, the next screen shows: Error Report Content
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini010204-01.dm
C:\DOCUME~1\PORTEG~\LOCALS~1\Temp/WER9.tmp.dir00\systata.xm
A possible related problem is that my temporary file attachments are dumped into the following file
C:\Documents and Settings\Portege user\Local Settings\Tem
I can find this file when I "search", but cannot find it useing Explorer -- the "Local Settings" part of the "Documents and Settings" file folder for "Portage User", "Administrator" and "All Users" do not appear in Explorer
Any help/suggestions would be very much appreciated
