MIGRATING TO SERVER 2008

I want to replace our Windows Server 2003 Std R2 32bits DC, with a brand new
Windows Server 2008 Std 64bits.
Based on a preliminay research, I can setup the 2008 Server 64bits, as an
additional server in the domain, then run DCPROMO and proceed with the
transfer of the FSMO rolls.
I'm in need of guidance, because of the cross-architecture involved...

Can anybody be kind enough to let me know if this is possible and/or show me
the best way to do this.
I'll truly appreciate it.

You would be better off posting to one of the server groups as your question
has nothing to do with Windows XP.
