This error message occurs if your Windows version has problems with 16-bit
applications (most often on Window XP, Sevice Pack 2). There are two
potential solutions to this problem:
* Manually install the application by going to the Start button,
selecting Run, and typing: (name of CD-ROM drive):\setup [for example:
D:\setup]. Then click the "Ok" button to install the application.
* If that does not work, you'll need to update one of the files on your
computer, do this by:
1. Click on the Start button, select Search, then choose "For Files
or Folders"
2. In the Search Result window, choose "All Files or Folders"
3. In the "All or Part of the File Name" section, type: autoexec.nt
4. Ensure that the Local Hard Drives option is selected in the
"Look in:" field
5. Click on the Search button. The file should be located in
c:\windows\repair
6. Right-click on the file, and select Copy
7. Right-click on the Start button, and then choose Explore
8. In the C: drive (or whichever hard drive you have Windows
installed on), click the plus (+) sign next to WINDOWS
9. Locate the "system32" folder
10. Right-click the folder and choose Paste
11. Now your eMedia program should run without incident.
