middle mouse wheel wont scroll

I have just intsalled intellipoint 5.2 driver on my
computer. I have a microsoft wireless optical mouse and i
cant get my scroll wheel to work on anything in windows
2000. Ive tried everything,looked everywhere. Help will be
much appreciated. Thanx

What model mouse? The 5.2 software is not backwards compatible to all Intellimouse versions. For instance, 5.2 will not work correctly with my original Wireless Intellimouse Explorer, which requires the 4.12 software version. Start here to determine the correct version level for your mouse: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/Download.mspx. Check the information on the bottom of your mouse for the correct model and version.
