When I insert .mid sound files into ppt presentations, they won't play. I
can play them with wmp, but not in ppt. Any suggestions?

it's 2003- and up until a week ago, I was able to insert and play .mid
sounds- but not anymore. I converted some of my .mid sounds to .wavs, and it
works, however take 20x as long to load or save with the converted files.
(But if it's an original .wav, it works quick and fine!) Most of my
microsoft clips online are in the .mid format. Would you know of how I could
find ms clips online in other formats?

I looked at the link, and I was wrong about my version- I have 2002 (I
thought all our PCs at work were 2003), because it would not me download the
plays for certain (my ppt version older than 2003). I did nothing different
(that I know of), had not downloaded any new software. In the morning it
worked, by afternoon no .mid sounds! (But they still play with wmp)
