The only problem with using Windows XP in a virtual machine within Linux:
When XP crashes, it wants to take everything else down with it...Go
figure.
I think it has something to do with xnews use of memory. When xnews
crashed, it took windows and made vmware unusable. I had to terminate
the process. Vmware would not work. Vmware made the system unstable and
I rebooted before I should experience a hard crash. As it was the
shutdown hung several times requiring pressing the on/off button on the
computer. With the latest version of PCLINUXOS, I have experienced this
problem several times with vmware, never with the other linux programs.
