Nonsense.

The items they list on both links you provide do nothing to make XP with SP3
better the Vista, if anything it is just a catch up on some Vista technology
being back ported to XP.

Lets just take a quick look at them.
"New Windows Product Activation model: no need to enter product key during
setup. Thank God for that!" - Vista has had this since day one.
"Network Access Protection modules and policies have been brought to XP
after being one of the more-well-received features in Windows Vista" -
Already in Vista
"New Microsoft Kernel Mode Cryptographic Module - the Windows XP SP3 kernel
now includes an entire module that provides easy access to multiple
cryptographic algorithms and is available for use in kernel-mode drivers and
services." - Already in Vista
New "Black Hole Router" detection - Windows XP SP3 can detect and protect
against rogue routers that are discarding data. - Already in Vista

And while I comment further (NDA's etc) - I can say that the gap between XP
with SP3 and Vista with SP1 just widens further (in favor of Vista) when
they both ship Q1'08.

lets get this straight...

Another of your posts hiding as information but just another excuse
for you to throw names around.
If information was your motive, you would leave off your name calling.
Your inability to communicate without such is a continued reflection
on your character.

There are many that believe as you and they can communicate without
the need to prop their own insecurity with name calling.
Leave it to them, they are far better at it.

As for "Vista fanboy excuse to get Vista"
Exactly who are you referring?
I see this type of post a lot from you as well as a few other critics.
But rarely are there posts suggesting people need Vista.
Do not confuse someone liking Windows Vista with saying others should
get it.
However exaggerations are sometimes necessary with those insecure in
their own positions.

Read the article.
It is an improvement on Windows XP.
Whether it makes Windows XP a better option than Windows Vista is
another thing.
For some it will, but in most of those cases, staying with Windows XP
is the best option.
For others it will do little to make Windows XP suitable instead of
Windows Vista.
Also read a little about SP-3 from other sources as well, not just the
ones that you think have your bias.

People continue to have a choice and choice is usually good for
consumers.

Not so. XP is an OLD operating system. The world has moved on since then.
Try Ubuntu for a real modern operating system.

Cheers.
