Microsoft XP for Students/Teachers- Outlook won't send my email

I have Outlook installed on my computer but it won't send my email. What do
I do?
 
Any error messages when you try and send email?
Do the messages just stay in you outbox?
Have you ever sent email with Outlook successfully.
Which version of Outlook are you using?
