Why can't I send emails with outlook 2003 using windows live

Using Outlook 2003 Student Teacher Edition I can't seem to send emails with
my Windows Live Hotmail account. I can receive messages with no problem but
when I send an email it doesn't go through and instead I get an email asking
me to sign in to my windows live account for security verification. I do so
using Firefox or IE, still doesn't send any emails through outlook. HELP!!

Hotmail is web mail and it's best to use your browser instead of Outlook. But
if you want to use Outlook, download and install the Outlook Connector.
