How can I fix an error with hpz3r5mu.dll effecting several applications?

Microsoft Works closes as soon as launched: Error in Appname wkswp.exe -
ModName:hpz3r5mu.dll

Internet explorer closes on selecting print: Error in Appname:
iexplore.exe - ModName: hpz3r5mu.dll
